Yoga
I became an avid yogi during the pandemic and completed my 200-hour teacher training at YYoga in Vancouver in 2021. I teach hatha, flow and power. My approach is philosophy-first rather than asana-first: yoga is a lifestyle well beyond the mat.

The things I do when I am not working. All three are slow, none of them scale, and that is most of the point.

Hand building and wheel, since 2023. I like making pieces that can be art inside a home rather than only tableware: vases, things you can hang on a wall. Most of the fun is in exploring different clay bodies and engraving them with materials I find outside.

Something I picked up while I lived in New York, and I shoot Kodak Gold almost exclusively. What I like is the wait: you catch a moment, and then nothing happens until the scans and prints come back, at which point it takes you straight back there. It makes me far more intentional about what is around me. Urban photography most of all.
