I am a researcher and product marketing professional working where AI ethics, digital labour and responsible innovation meet. At the University of Oxford I worked with the Fairwork project, building AI supply chain audits and certification pathways to push for fair labour practices in the digital economy.
Before that I spent six years at Microsoft, leading go-to-market strategy and adoption for AI-powered workplace tools including Microsoft 365 Copilot — shaping how emerging technology gets positioned and explained to enterprise audiences around the world. Most recently I have been Anthropic’s Claude Ambassador at Oxford, running the Claude Builder Club.
The through-line is the same in all of it: connecting what gets built to what it actually does once it is out in the world, and to the people it is done to. I write about that in On the Record.
I am originally from Turkey. I studied International Relations and Economics at the University of Pennsylvania’s Huntsman Program, and completed my MSc at the Oxford Internet Institute, where I focused on AI’s societal implications, digital responsibility, AI literacy and equitable innovation — and on what inclusive AI systems and digital empowerment could look like in underserved regions.
